With heating element imbedded in the ceramic body, the heater can emit far infrared invisible light of wavelength 0.75 to 400 micron which creates much more thermal energy than visible light. The heater features energy saving and production increase, easy installation and smaller space requirement, much longer service life than conventional heaters, rapid temperature rise, uniform heating, maintenance free and safety. Applications include drying of articles coated with resins of melamine, phenol, acrylic and epoxy in such industries as plastics, wood, paper, printing, food processing and chemicals.
